The Mekanism is back with some more of his timeless house sounds, this time on the TBX label with a remix from New York’s Jean Pierre. An artist who has a highly impressive back catalogue, and has released on labels such as Needwant, Play It Say It, 2020 Vision, No Art, Bambossa, Robsoul Recordings, Wyld, Do Not Sleep, Moan Recordings and many many more.

My House is a warm, deep house cut with plenty of bounce in the tight drums. Wooden claps and a sultry vocal are the simple but effective additions to make this one a real standout. Get Down then jacks the dance floor with prickly analogue drums and twitchy claps as well as some raw, brain frying acid lines to really rip it up.

My House (Jean Pierre Remix) is a low sling and non stop groove for the back rooms. It had dubbed out kicks and icy hi hats next to creeping vocal sounds that make it perfect for mind and body.
