Premiere: Perky Wires – No More Fears [TBX Records]

TBX Records is back and this time with no other than the very talented duo Perky Wires for their ‘Lunasee’ EP, which comes complete with a remix from swing-beast Reelow. The title track transports us deep into Perky’s subconscious, setting the tone for the entire EP. Housy beat is combined with bouncy bassline, cosmic chords, and stunning voxes. This sound would work just as well in the main room as it would in the darker after-hours. Reelow adds his own spin with a super groovy remix centered on an extremely swinging beat and a lot of minimal sound design. ‘No more fears’, second Perky’s original, is found on the flipside and, like the lead tune, focuses on a powerful dance beat and contagious vocals. Although it has more of a house vibe, this naughty tune has the power to ruin any party on its own.
