Brazil is in da house once again! Reecords’ 50th milestone release comes from emerging Florianopolis-based rising talent Marian (DPE, Organic Pieces), who makes his label debut with ‘Acid Travel’ EP. As expected, the lead track takes us on a journey of acid-infused rhythms, squelchy sequences and swirly psychedelic vocals. Next up, ‘Badei’ offers skipping grooves and full-bodied basslines, all within a laidback funky mood. Games closing are entrusted to ‘Rise n Top’ – a collaboration with fellow Brazilian wunderkind BAPP (Mood Child, Black Label Recs) – which radiates pure percussive and bouncy flavours, providing a quality and classy option for all hours of the night.
