Lashout – Jiggy EP [RR005] Rarebit Records couldn’t be happier to welcome Lashout to the label with his ‘Jiggy EP’ – As the label’s fifth release, we couldn’t of asked for a better EP from a nicer guy! The Welsh Skateboarder Lashout has his crisp, unmistakable production skills on full display, as he delivers two tracks both with a very different vibe and feel. The EP opens with ‘Jiggy,’ full of unique sounding chit-chat that has you singing along, all the while wondering what language you’re singing. This stripped back stone cold groover, will have you nodding along like Jamie Jones throughout this super catchy electronic expedition. The second track, ‘Smile,’ will make you do just that. This almost classic sounding roller, touches on New Jersey and Chicago House elements. With lush chords and a vocal that we still haven’t got out of our heads. ‘Smile’ has us thinking about those wonderful warm days of summers past. This is a beautifully diverse EP that shows Lashout’s personality and flare, tipping his hat to Chicago and New Jerseys but with a lovely touch of that Welsh charm!
