Premiere: VITO (UK), RENZO. – Bussdown (Louden Remix) [Futura]

With an penchant for quality output Leon and his Futura imprint welcomes VITO (UK) and RENZO to the label with a two track EP of dancefloor bangers which comes complete with a powerful remix from Italy’s Louden

VITO (UK) and RENZO. are 2 fast rising DJ producer in the scene who between them have released on influential labels like Deeperfect, Issues, Pitch, Sola, Elrow, Roush, Rawsome and Cr2. Individually VITO (UK) has been playing around the UK supporting headliners such as Michael Bibi, Late Replies, Reelow Green Velvet and more. He has has two previous numbers 1 on each Beatport and Traxsource, and can count on artists like Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Neverdogs, Solardo, Alisha and more as supports of his music. RENZO. was previously been a part of the acclaimed UK Bass trio, Funkystepz and has also been a resident on Rinse FM in the UK, and has delivered enthralling headline performances for both Bestival and Boiler Room.

For their first release on Futura they drop the ‘Bussdown EP’ and first out of the box is the lead and title track, which straight away shows the pair mean business. An authoritative and infectious bassline groove rolls in an effortless way through the track and gets you locked right away, the pair then add in some tastefully worked vocals cuts, which is all topped off with the consummate arrangement, where less is more, and leaves the track oozing with a certain coolness.
Next up on the flip side is ‘Jokers Hype’ where the pair increase the tempo, the energy, and this just bounces. It has all the hallmarks of being a big track for those ‘terraces’ style DJ sets and is guaranteed to feature heavily in many a tastemaker set for the next few months.
To round off this very strong EP we welcome Louden to Futura. The Italian has previously released his highly danceable style of Minimal Deep Tech on profile labels such as PIV, Heavy House Society, Rendr and Pitch Records. For his remix of ‘Bussdown’ he retains many of the key elements from the original yet pushes the energy and adding his own trademark hypnotic groove and a touch of subtle acid arp delivering the perfect remix for this standout package
