Premiere: Senzala – Vertigo [Cuttin’ Headz]

Senzala is a London based house and techno DJ/Producer who is making real international waves. Now he backs that up with a fantastic EP on The Martinez Brothers’s Cuttin Headz label.

Judgment opens up with elastic bass and brooding synth work. It is a house track that suspends you in tension and rains down sci-fi melodies from above. Vertigo then goes deeper, with a meandering bassline that hints at menace as it snakes about beneath the percussive lines up top. Whirring vocals and cosmic synths flesh out this alluring late night cut. ReHeat then cuts loose on jumbled and organic percussion, with rolling snares and eerie vocal sounds all making for a detailed track that will lock in the floor.
