Premiere: Stefano Crabuzza – Assaje [Andhera Records]

Andhera Records drops some heavy weight house music this May in the form of Stefano Crabuzza’s excellent Assaje EP.

With releases on labels like DJ Chus’s Stereo Productions, Distance and Dennis Cruz’s Lemon-aid imprint, the young rising talent of Southern Italy based Stefano Crabuzza has been catching the attention of some of the industry’s biggest names including Black Coffee, Marco Carola, Andrea Oliva, Roger Sanchez, wAFF, Neverdogs, Stacey Pullen, Barem, Stefano Noferini to name just a few since making his production debut.

For his release on Andhera he has delivered two outstanding originals, the first of which is Assaje. The title track of the EP is an excellent slice of house with deep and minimal touches. With its sweet vocal hook and bouncing bassline this is an uplifting track with excellent arrangement and top quality production.

The second track is Wealthy, which gets its power from another uplifting bouncing bassline and its shuffling hi’s. With a more minimal flavour from the title track this adds some sublime melody lead incidentals and well executed and places chords and treated percussion.

Finally for the 3rd track on the release we have Andhera owners, Ky William and STES remix of Assaje. For their remix they take this slightly deeper to an almost dub version of the original, creating a hypnotic journey like version that definitely more the deep tech crew.

This is yet another key release from the fast rising Andhera Records, and Stefano Crabuzza, and something that is for sure to set floors alight this summer.
