Premiere: Fleur Shore – Dog Call [Frame Music]

Next up on Frame Music, Birmingham-based rising star and Undergrowth brand boss Fleur Shore delivers a compelling three-track underground EP – The Return.

Refusing to conform to the norm and never following the formulas that work for others, there are already glimpses from the early stages of Fleur Shore’s career that she is very much an artist leading from the front. Her latest offering signifies the astounding depth of her creative capability and understanding of current sonic trends within underground music.

Klassik Organ opens the release with an array of driving components and gritty grooves. Building around a rhythmic organ bassline and sirenic vocal cuts, she carves out a punchy dancefloor jam with progressive energy from start to finish.

Dog Call is another potent track with undulating momentum. Rattling percs and piercing hats bounce off a solid kick and analogue bass sequence – interjected by nostalgic sampling and atmospheric FX throughout.

5 AM cuts a Minimal line with ample doses of acid from end to end – to good effect. An energetically quirky roller, full of staunch drum work, hypnotic sampling and FX and rousing energy for the whole ride.
