Premiere: Parsec (UK) – Sequencing [Short Circuit]

Just in time for New York’s grand re-opening, Brooklyn-based promotion Short Circuit launches its debut VA, with four outstanding underground tracks. Fresh off of events headlined by heavyweights Jamie Jones, Green Velvet and Loco Dice, the Short Circuit team has spun its events focused success into a label to look out for.

Leading off is established UK producer Parsec with “Sequencing”. A groove forward yet driving deep tech track, Sequencing is already a mainstay at Short Circuit parties in New York and Miami.

Next up is a raw cut by Short Circuit co-founder Jeff Sorkowitz and original team member branca. Dark and underground, this one is sure to hit hard at the afterparty.

UK live act James Orvis then brings the energy through his driving techno track ‘Let You Know’. This one is sure to light up the peak hours.

Finally, back to Short Circuit’s minimal roots, James Wyler serves up the final track on this VA, ‘Functional Frequency’, featuring a chord-driven, hypnotic groove.

The Short Circuit team’s dark ethos shines through with these dubby yet club-ready cuts. Stay tuned as this team meticulously curates future releases to match their underground events.
