PREMIERE: Draxx (ITA), Nick Francis – Sensation [Sound DElite]

Italy’s Draxx (ITA) and Nick Francis link up on Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite, with the two rising talents combining for their ‘I Needa’ EP on 10th April. Named one of 1001 Tracklists’ ‘Future of Dance’ artists for two consecutive years, Draxx (ITA) has been busy with releases tracks on labels such as Hellbent, Desolat, Nervous, and Trick. Meanwhile, after gaining early recognition in 2022, Nick Francis has spent the past few years honing his craft, earning credible support on his work from the likes of Luciano, Chelina Manuhutu and De la Swing. The two now combine their approaches on Sound D’Elite, crafting a grooving, two-track EP that showcases their knack for infectious rhythms. Title track ‘I Needa’ opens the EP with a relentless percussive flow, crisp male vocals, and a playful carnival atmosphere at the heart of its groove. On the flip, ‘Sensation’ ups the ante, delivering a slick cut that oozes with swagger, packed with driving rhythms and waning vocal snippets that pull listeners in.
