PREMIERE: James Dexter – Go [LOCUS]
Continuing to spotlight both emerging and established voices, FUSE’s sister imprint LOCUS returns with another impressive VA release on 27th March with the latest edition of ‘LOCUS Trax’. For instalment seven, label headhoncho Enzo Siragusa welcomes four fresh faces in the form of Spain’s Alvaro Medina (Djebali/Moan) alongside London-based talents James Dexter (Inermu Records), Jude Lenihan (Modern Funktion/Hardline), and Summer Ghemati (neXup/MOXY MUZIK), with all delivering distinctive club-ready cuts that continue the label’s mission of showcasing exciting names from across the globe.
Kicking things off, Alvaro Medina’s ‘This Sound’ bursts with a bouncy, elastic groove, zippy energy, and infectious momentum that immediately draws listeners in. James Dexter’s ‘Go’ follows, delivering a deep, cosmic cut loaded with driving low-end weight for maximum impact. Next, Jude Lenihan’s all-action ‘Paris’ keeps the energy high with bumping grooves and sweeping lead synths that command the floor, before Summer Ghemati closes the release with ‘Hustle’, a slinking, shadowy track featuring crisp percussion and hazy female vocals, perfect for late-night sets.
