Premiere: SSERO – Un Plis (De La Swing Remix) [Take Notes]

As we slowly approach the double-digit on our catalogue number, we welcome an individual heading up Spain’s next wave of exciting talent, Ssero. The Barcelona-based artist has collected some wicked releases over the last couple of years on labels like Deeperfect, Revival, and Moan, showing exactly why he is at the forefront of the minimal-house landscape, and he now writes his first notes on the titled ‘Un Plis’ EP.

The lead track opens the package with a gloomy and skippy combination of rubbery bass, granular sounds, and scattering elements, whilst ‘Lighz & Chill’ moves into more tunnel-ish territories with trippy drum patterns and further vocal murmurs. Closing the EP in style, ElRow frontman De La Swing’s take on ‘Un Plis’ is a lively re-injection of congas, playful grooves, and crazy n’ hooky vocals throughout.
