Spain’s BizZa heads to MÜSE for a trio of percussive efforts as he delivers his latest EP, ‘Terrence Fletcher’.
Clocking up releases via the likes of Sanity, elrow, VIVa, Roush and Clarisse, Spaniard BizZa is quickly forging a back catalogue worthy of artists many years his senior. With his slick, percussion-driven take on house music finding favour amongst the likes of Jamie Jones, De La Swing and MÜSE co-founder Dennis Cruz, he makes his debut on the label this summer with three new productions across his ‘Terrence Fletcher’ EP.
Title cut ‘Terrence Fletcher’ exemplifies his tidy, rolling production style as crisp drums go to work on top of rubbery basslines and rich guitar riffs to hold an absorbing groove. Next, ‘Flute Over’ combines warped vocals, bumping low-ends and sharp hats, before rounding things out with the rugged and driving sounds of ‘Elements Rools’ as energetic drums and resonant stabs carry the track into the peak time.
